What CPL New Leaders say about the program...

I would advise that emerging progressive leaders be involved in their communities, as well as investing some solid time in a leadership program like New Leaders, which provided me with many of the skills and tools that I’m still using in my involvement today.
-Roheeni Saxena

I learned how to organize and strategize to win concrete victories, instead of planning random activities around issues that have no goal or way of moving people who are directly affected by the problems to solve it and change it.
-Adriana Cortes

The most important thing I got out of the Program was a sense of the Progressive Movement. All of my work prior to this summer has been very issue-specific with resources and networks particular to that singular effort. For the first time, I now have a grasp of what an all-encompassing Progressive Movement might look like.
-Mary Small
