Monique Dorsainvil

 

Monique Dorsainvil

Hometown: Los Angeles, California

Placement: The White House, Office of the First Lady

Monique is a graduate of Emory University where she majored in Women's Studies with a minor in Global Health. Before attending Emory, Monique took a gap year during which she traveled around the world pursuing volunteer projects and cultural exchange programs. This past summer, Monique had the opportunity to travel Tanzania for the Leon H. Sullivan Institute Conference and to Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos to pursue research. Currently, Monique is a White House intern in the Correspondence Office of First Lady Michelle Obama. Monique’s main passions involve fusing the arts and social change mainly through photography, documentary film making and graphic design.
