Developing the Next Generation of Progressive Leaders

CPL and the CPL Action Network has trained over 5,000 diverse progressive leaders through intensive, nonpartisan leadership programs primarily in our state offices.

CPL trains, mentors, and coaches high-potential leaders at every level of political involvement, including:

  • Organization Leaders
  • Future Candidates and Elected Officials
  • Campaign Professionals
  • Community Organizers and Grassroots Activists
  • Policy, Government and Media Leaders

CPL focuses on providing comprehensive, long-term leadership development for progressive leaders across the country. Read about our programs, including State Fellowships & New Leaders Program.

At the Center for Progressive Leadership, we believe that our country's political leadership should reflect the full diversity of our country and that our government should advance equal opportunity and ensure fair and equitable treatment for all.
